Do you know someone who doesn’t know how to relax? Using your free time to actually relax and unwind is extremely important. It’s part of self-care. It’s a way to let go of stress, to breathe again, and to give your mind and body a break.
This month, for our Weekend Fun posts every Friday, I will focus on the fun side of freedom because freedom has a fun side. Like the freedom of free time.
First of all, if you don’t think you have free time you need to read this book.
Second, if you find yourself with free time, don’t waste it. Use it to take care of yourself. Use it to let go of stress, to unwind, to relax, and to breathe. Use it to have fun. Use it to regroup and re-energize.
It may sound counter-intuitive, but if you want to keep working, you need to stop working. You need to get a break before you burn out and your body shuts down, because when that happens, you won’t be able to work.
