If you could switch lives with someone for a day, who would it be? Why?
Would it be like in the movie “Freaky Friday” where you swap bodies, too? If so, I would switch places with an eagle because I’ve always wanted to fly or a deep sea creature so I can explore the mysteries of the ocean.
But if I’m switching lives for a day – and defying the laws of nature in the process – I would go back in time and switch lives with my younger self on the day I met with a college admissions counselor for the first time. Instead of declaring one major (Church Leadership), I would take on a second major in Psychology, which was suggested by the counselor, but I said no.
I’m now taking the last class I need for an AA in Psychology. I should have said yes in the first place. Having a major in Psychology would tremendously help with the ministry and dealing with people (from children, to families, and to volunteers/team management). Freaky where life takes us, right?
