My pastor gave it out to the church leaders. I am enjoying Kendall’s insights and Biblical references. Each devotional is accompanied by Bible passages for further reading. They’re short enough to read on their own, or in addition to other devotional or Bible reading plans you may already be on.
This gift idea: DIY Wall Art with Walgreens Wood Panels
They take your photo and mount it to a 1/2″ thick pressed wooden panel. There are peg holes in the back so you can hang it on the wall (I use a push pin), or you can display it on a table with the peg easel that comes with it. I take the wonderfulness of Canva to make a printable and download it as a jpg image. I upload it to Walgreens and order it as a wood panel. I’ve been giving it as gifts 🙂 and last Christmas, my sister gave me one.
It’s $14.99 for a 5×7 and $19.99 for an 8×10, but Walgreens has a lot of coupons. They offer this product as a Same Day Pick-up, which means, it’s a great last minute gift idea. There are many free graphics you can use like this lyric art of the song above, or grab a picture from your giftee’s Facebook or Instagram.
Here’s the catch. I’ve had the same problems with Walgreens on all my wood panel orders. First, the colors are a little off, especially with colors that are harder to pin down. Just keep in mind that printers are different. Second, Walgreens never had my orders ready. They printed the order but they didn’t mount it. My sister had the same problem. I think the employees haven’t gotten this service down to a pat since it’s fairly new, especially as a same day pickup service. It doesn’t take long to mount it, so my advice is to call them ahead.
