Happy Friday! I kind of miss the snow. My family went to Tahoe earlier this week and we’re all amused by the snow. It was beautiful and frightening at the same time. If you live with snow, kudos. I don’t know how to you survive, but the fun you must have!
Meet Mr. Snowman (thanks, Cousin, for that original name) and my sad attempt at a snow angel. Follow me on IG for more pictures, including a misadventure with my leg. I wish I could say I got hurt sledding, but it was from a log. This is how I stayed moisturized in the cold.
Here are some funny new year’s resolutions book lovers will understand, and a 2016 Reading Challenge from Modern Mrs. Darcy. If you are joining the challenge, let me know! What book will or are you reading first? I’m starting with Madeleine L’Engle’s A Wrinkle in Time for “a book that was banned at some point.” I’ve never read it. This book has been banned in schools for both being too Christian and too anti-Christian, which intrigued me. Plus, the writer and co-director of “Frozen,” Jennifer Lee, will be writing a bigscreen adaptation of this book for Disney.
Last year, I loved listening to JJ Heller’s “This Year.” This year (pun intended), I like watching the music video. Check it out and I hope it inspires you as 2016 gets underway.
