Introduce yourself however you like! Pics, vlog, collage, your choice 🙂
In the movie “Nanny Diaries”, Annie goes on a job interview and couldn’t answer the question, “Who is Annie?” I feel like that every time someone asks me who I am or to introduce myself. Maybe because I’m an introvert and it takes a while to get to know me. Maybe because telling you parts of who I am is too inadequate of a picture of the whole of who I am. I’ve always thought that with me, what you see is never all you get. So all that said, let me try to introduce myself to you anyway.
Hi. My name is Anna Angela. I know, blog name is not too creative. You can call me Angela. All my friends do. And now here I am in lists of 3s.
First 3 things I want you to know about me:
- I am an INFP (it describes me pretty well). Here’s what that means: the Mediator (INFP)
- My love language is Gifts. Here’s what that means.
- I can be pretty geeky
3 other things I want you to know about me:
- I am 31 years old
- I was born in the Philippines and can still speak Tagalog, but the less I use it, the more I forget. True to INFP nature, I love languages and know a tiny bit of ASL, Italian, Hebrew, Spanish (had three years in high school and forgot a lot of it), and three Russian words: izvinite = excuse me, spasibo = thank you, zdravstvuyte = hello.
- My top 3 spiritual gifts are faith, leadership, and teaching respectively
3 things I do everyday:
- Spend time with God in some way or form
- Drink around 1 gallon of water
- Shower (yes, including my hair. It gets super gross otherwise)
3 things I do every week:
- Write
- Knit (it’s my business)
- Drink coffee (from daily to weekly, I’m trying to lessen my caffeine intake)
3 things I do every month:
- Finish a book (I’ve been successful thanks to Modern Mrs. Darcy’s Reading Challenge)
- Reflect
- Watch a movie (theater, Redbox, or online)
3 things I do every year:
- Go on a trip or vacation (for sanity’s sake, I try extremely hard to do this)
- Join writing challenges: Blog-tember Challenge, Write 31 Days, and NaNoWrimo (it’s horrible that they are on September, October, and November respectively. Insane daily writing!)
- Participate in Operation Christmas Child
3 things you can’t hold that I love:
- The color pink
- The number 3
- The word dream
3 things you can hold that I love:
- Food 🙂
- Water: letting it run through my hands, taking a shower or a bath, bobbing in a pool (ironically, I don’t like being in the ocean or the sea or a lake with creatures underneath that may attack me or pull me under)
- Dresses. I could live in dresses.
3 skills I learned as a child/teen/minor
- Play the piano
- Cook
- Touch type
3 skills I learned as an adult
- Knit
- Paint my own nails
- Change the wipers on my car
3 skills I still haven’t mastered
- Haggling
- Keeping my room clean (INFPs and Mediator types can neglect the day-to-day upkeep of life)
- Anything to do with finances and financial vernacular
3 most awkward moments in my life
- When a classmate in my Christian college asked if I was a prayer warrior and I said no. Cue awkward pause, and then he replies, “Yeah. What’s a prayer warrior anyway, right?”
- When I slid down a water slide and my swimsuit rode up as I hit the bottom
- When I dodged a bunch of butterflies because I was afraid while 7 toddlers ooh’ed and ahh‘ed
3 social media accounts you can find me on
- Twitter (@annaangela)
- Instagram (@annaangelars)
- Snapchat (@annaangelars)

That’s so neat that you know so many languages! I live in Bosnia now so I have learned to conversationally speak Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian (they’re all basically the same) and they share a lot of Russian words. Izvinite is also excuse me and zdravo is hello 🙂
It took me forever to learn zdravstvuyte! I could feel my tongue tripping on itself, haha. Zdravo seems so much easier. It’s definitely easier to learn a language if you live in the country 🙂
