At the end of each month, I’m looking back at the things I learned, loved, and lived through. This is my look back at May.
Learned
I learned that I’ve been on zombie mode. I’ve been inside far too long and behind a computer screen way too often. I don’t even feel like spring has ever sprung. Now summer’s here? What happened? I’m resolving to do something about that…to stop being swept up by the busyness and…and? I’m not sure yet, but I will let you know what I figure out 🙂
Loved
This.
My brother graduated from high school! Time flies. He’s a hair short of 13 years younger than me. Crazy huh? I still remember when I drove him to and from school from preschool through half of his high school years. May God guide every step you take, brother.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take” Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT).
Lived Through
I removed a comment on this blog for the first time because the woman called other women the b-word (and used the f-word too). As an INFP, I really don’t like confrontations. This hardly was, but it feels like a negative experience and it’s giving me the shivers. I’m reminded how tough being online can be, and suddenly tempted to quit (especially after this Instagram/Prince fiasco), but I think I just need to get back to my writing roots and rediscover the passion.
What about you? How was your May and what are your plans for this summer?
