It’s Mother’s Day weekend! Blessings to all the moms out there. Here’s a cute video for you.
Good one, Pandora the jewelers (not the online radio). Good one.
Have you checked the availability of your online name/handle? NameChk checks the availability of handles and vanity names across different websites and social media. If you’re have an online presence for your business or brand (be it freelance or whatever), consider having the same name/handle across different online platforms and snatch it up before it’s gone.
Stephanie Scotti wrote “5 Public Speaking Lessons from ‘House of Cards’.” I thought it was funny with helpful tips!
Freely Photos is a website with “Totally free high quality Christian stock photography.” Love! It can be hard to find good CCO licensed images online with Christian messages (a person praying, a stack of Bibles, etc) and this site has good ones. They also have other images that don’t have a Christian slant. Two downsides. First, they don’t have a search bar so you can’t sift through the images through search keywords. Second, there’s not a lot of photographs in the website right now (which makes not having a search bar OK for now). I hope they continue to grow and have success.
Dispatch is a new subscription box for children’s ministry! I’ve heard of subscription boxes for fashion, food, health, and even crafts. Dispatch is for children’s ministry. They sent out the first box last month, and I heard about it the day they sent out the boxes. It was probably for the best because I already own 2 of the items they sent. But I would totally want to try this out. The boxes are sent every 3 months so I’m waiting. It’s $39 billed every 3 months you keep your subscription.
Have you tried any subscription boxes/services? What’s your favorite?
Keeping it short today. I hope you have a wonderful Mother’s Day, whether you’re a mom or celebrating one!
