Weekend Fun & Songs from My iTunes

Weekend Fun

This month will have a little more Weekend Fun posts because of the Blog-tember Challenge! Enjoy your weekend!

Blog-tember Challenge Prompt:
Put your iTunes/music player on shuffle and share the first 10 songs that play.

1. “Afloat” by Caleb and Sol
I love this song and I’m so happy it popped in first. Here is the music video:

2. “Get Out and Get Under the Moon” by Frankie Marvin
An oldie but goodie. Listen here.

3. “Treasures” by Caleb and Sol
Listen here.

4. Ducktales Theme Song
I have a feeling this is going to be a weird list! Listen here.

5. “Falling Down” by Selena Gomez and The Scene
Listen here.

6. “Piano Concerto No.2 in C Minor, Op.18: II. Adagio sostenuto (excerpt)”
by Rachmaninov, performed by Cécile Ousset, Sir Simon Rattle, and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
Classical music. Yes. Listen to the full version here.

7. “Happy Working Song” by Amy Adams from Enchanted
This is part of my cleaning playlist! Watch this clip below! It is both gross and captivating.

8. “Shackles Praise You” by Go Fish Guys from Go Fish Guys VBS
You know you’re in Children’s Ministry when you have VBS songs in your iPod.

9. “Angels Cry” by the Bethany Praise Team led by Jonathan Stockstill
This is a beautiful worship song. Listen here.

10. “Try” by Colbie Caillat
Oh look, a song from this year! Powerful song and video. Watch it below.

That wasn’t so weird, was it? I have a random mix of songs in my music library. I was surprised that none of the Christmas songs popped up because I’ve got plenty of those! Other than that, this list is actually a good representation of what I’ve got. I have a lot of old songs and a few modern ones. I listen to show tunes, Disney, and Classical. I have worship songs, contemporary Christian, VBS, and Sunday school songs. A few pop songs and very few songs from recent years because I usually just listen through Pandora.

What about you? What are the first 10 songs that play when you put your music player on shuffle?

I'd love to hear from you!
