I’ve been pulled aside for further inspection by TSA before. I’m traveling next month, and it’s bringing back memories. Do you travel often? If you want a travel win, maybe getting Global Entry or TSA PreCheck is the way to go. This article breaks it down.

If you want to have a win in your health, read these words by Modern Ms. Darcy.

Re-grow green onions and lettuce indoors. I actually did these and they work! Pinterest wins for someone with a black thumb! I have them growing in the kitchen window sill where the sun can reach them.

Then my grandmother transferred…trans-planted?…the green onions in the garden, which means I hardly use them now because they’re oh so far away. Soon I would need to harvest them, or at least snip off the green parts to store in the jar of green onions I keep in the freezer. This is a great way to always have green onions handy.

The lettuce is a newer try for me. They’re still on the window sill. I used an old cashew can for one and a red plastic cup for the other. The one in the red cup did not grow! I transferred both of them in a shallow dish and they’re growing nicely.

Every time I think of gardening, I remember the story of Rev. Bill Terry. His tomato plants weren’t growing so he uprooted the weakest one. He held up that weak plant and shook it in front of the other plants saying, “If you do not start producing fruit, this is what’s going to happen to you!” The next week, tomatoes galore.

He was talking about faith. Sometimes a fire needs to be lit under us to get us moving. By faith we can move mountains, but when was the last time we did?

“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”

This weekend, may you move the mountains in your way. Throw them into the sea and rejoice in the Father and the blessings He pours over you. Faith wins!

I'd love to hear from you!
