Playing… World Chef on my phone.
Watching… out for the return of my favorite shows like NCIS (9/20), Law & Order SVU (9/21), and the premier of the remake of MacGyver (9/23).
Trying… protein shakes that I received for free to review
Cooking… slow cooker meals
Eating… baked pita chips I found for $0.79 at Lucky’s
Drinking… water. Lots of water, as usual.
Calling… nobody. I hardly ever place or answer phone calls. But a lot of phone calls from all over the country and numbers I don’t recognize have been coming in. As my bff says, “If it’s important, they’d leave a voicemail.”
Texting… sporadically because I don’t always have something to say.
Pinning… Fall outfits to this board right here
Tweeting… blog and IG posts automatically. Because automation.
Going… to school
Loving… patterned black tights
Hating… early nights. I miss long summer days.
Discovering… The Shannara Chronicles tv show
Thinking… about the story/analogy of a mountain climber who fell off the icy snow-capped mountain and hung by the rope mid-air in the middle of the zero-visibility night. He called to God for help, and God told him to cut the rope with his knife. Bewildered, confused, and afraid, the man didn’t listen to God and eventually froze to death. He was found hanging by the rope, two-feet from the ground. Sometimes God tells us to do something that doesn’t make sense to anyone but Him. We need to remember that He sees the bigger picture. He knows more than we do, and trusting Him will always be the right thing to do.
Feeling… out of breath. I’ve been encountering a lot of smokers and my emergency inhaler usage have increased to daily. That’s a very bad sign.
Hoping (for)… sunshine when I’m in Seattle next month
Listening (to)… Barlow Girl (just rotating between their albums, even the Christmas one)
Celebrating… the release of holiday drinks at Starbucks. I’ve already had the PSL. Can’t wait for the rest!
Smelling… scented candles like Strawberry Fields and Vanilla Black Currant
Thanking… Amazon for the free trial of Student Prime because my textbook rental, which was the cheapest I found anywhere, came the same day I ordered it. The textbook itself was a heavy beast I’m not looking forward to reading.
Considering… going to Anchorage for my birthday. How cold is Alaska in January???
